Raw blood enters the mono pump via the flange shown, steam enters the coagulator flange via a steam train (not shown). Blood exits the coagulator via about 6 metres of stainless steel pipe to the blood dewatering centrifuge
The continuous blood coagulator comprises of a 50mm diameter perforated tube within a 100mm x 660mm long tubular body with dairy style connections and unions either end to facilitate ease of disassembly. A nominal 6 metres of pipe is supplied for interconnection between the raw blood pump and the dewatering centrifuge. The entire pipe assembly is manufactured in stainless steel.
The Blood coagulator is capable of a capacity of approximately 4000 litres per hour of raw blood with a 15% solids content.
